4th of July Parade

Like in last year's neighborhood parade, we hit the streets and participated in this year's Independence Day parade. It was held on Saturday the 3th since the 4th fell on a Sunday this year and the parade is held in the morning. Both the girls were in the parade this year. Magnolia decorated her tricycle and Dan held Boothe. I was the photographer and videographer from the sidewalk. There is usually an antique fire truck that ends the parade, but this year it was out of commission. Fun was still had by all with the real firetruck, neighbors and a brunch!Everyone dressed in their festive colors! We had a great turnout this year. Great weather, lots of kids and babies and patriotic adults!I look like the odd one out for 2 reasons...I wasn't dressed in red and blue because I didn't walk in the parade, I took pictures and I shouldn't be smiling. Everyone else looks like they are posing for a picture in the 1800s when people used to not smile for pictures. My family...
Phew, we have had a whirlwind 3 days and I'm exhausted. We packed in so much and have a lot to look forward to still this week and next. I have way too many pictures to share and lots of stories to tell!
