If you saw my post yesterday, you saw a bunch of pictures from the first part of the Denver Children's Museum. Now for the pictures from the rooms upstairs...
The bubble room. Yes, an entire room dedicated to making giant bubbles.
After making tons of bubbles we hit the land of underground. A giant anthill with underground tunnels was the highlight. Costumes and stuffed insects, rodents and unidentifiables completed the experience.
Trapped in a nest of some sort. Hope the owner doesn't return anytime soon....This little mole was running around like crazy with this outfit on. The hood would sometimes fall down and cover her eyes and she thinks that is SO funny. She does it on purpose with her winter hats and then will walk blindly just giggling.The dance studio complete with dance floor, wall of mirrors, props and dress up clothes.Lastly, there was a magnetic wall to explore, spell, build and imagine.The whole gang.
Well that rounds out Colorado 2010. Hope 2011 sees another trip out west for the Indiana Corys!

Colorado Trip {part 2}
On Saturday before the baptism we visited the Denver Children's Museum. The girls had a ball! I wish we had one this big closer, but I did find out that one of our local children's museums, Healthworks, has an affiliate membership with a great museum in St. Joe, MI that we have visited before, the one in Denver and 38 others! I'm thinking about getting us a year membership to give us some places to visit this winter.
Anyways, this museum in Denver had a toddler area that we went to first. Magnolia and Ayla began exploring right away. Boothe...finished her nap in my arms for the first 20 or 30 minutes. As soon as she figured out what she was missing though she was up and running around with her big sis.Has anyone seen Baby Ayla?There was a imaginary garden with fabric veggies stuck in holes in "dirt".If I ever open an Apothecary shop in a hollowed out tree, I want this to be my sign out front. It is so cute!Next stop were to some musical stars that played tunes when stepped on.A soft magical fairyland bridge.Real sized trees and logs and whimsical playthings.
And much much more from this museum to come tomorrow.... :)

Colorado Trip {part 1}
I took so many pictures while we were visiting with the Cory family in Colorado. It is taking me so long to pick out the good ones and get them posted. Plus, throw in marathon viewing sessions of Showtime's Dexter and I'm not getting much else done. Luckily we only have 9 episodes to go and then we will be caught up. I told Dan I didn't want to start any new series in awhile. We get sucked in to easily.
Anyways, the girls did well on the 2+ hour plane rides to and from Denver. We drove up to Chicago Friday morning and hopped on a plane at Midway arriving in Colorado later that afternoon.Ayla was greeted by many hugs and kisses when we first arrived...and for the whole weekend for that matter.Trying to get a picture of the 3 of them. No one is looking (not surprisingly), but they seem in their element so I really like this picture.Magnolia loved to make Ayla laugh by rubbing her face on her tummy.
These are 3 sweet Cory girls! More pictures to come tomorrow from the rest of the trip.
