More from the crack yard

Dan cut off these 6 pumpkins the other day and a few days later cut off 2 more. Another large one and another small one. That brings our total to 11 pumpkins sitting in my kitchen and another 4 on the vine almost ripe. I'm not sure what's in our soil, but our veggies grow like they are on crack! We just cut back a TON of vine to reclaim some of our yard. I'm ready to focus on our carrots which are doing well.

I'm going to try and puree the pumpkin meat myself and make some breads, muffins and cookies. Have any good pumpkin recipes you would like to share?

  1. These are my favorite pumpkin muffins. I'm actually excited it's getting close to fall so I can make them again. Summer just doesn't seem quite like the right time for them. But they are sooo good, and you can choose how "healthy" you want to make them too!
