Magnolia was already asleep when all of the excitment went down Friday night. We only live about 3 minutes from the hospital, so Dad snuck home around 3:30 in the morning and relieved Mimi of her babysitting duties. Magnolia was a little confused when she woke up to find Mom gone and Dad talking about going to meet her little sister, Boothe, at the hospital! We got our stuff together and made our way over to the hospital. When we arrived, Magnolia was excited to see her Mom, but wasn't too sure about Boothe right off the bat. We asked her f she wanted to lay on the hospital bed with Boothe and she said flatly, "No." (her new favorite word).
But after a few minutes, she warmed right up to her and in no time was wanting to pat her, play with her, and watch over her. She loves being a big sister!!

Magnolia has really gotten serious about taking on her new, more "mature" role as big sister. She even went with a new wardrobe to better look the part.
"Hmmm....did I leave that oven on?"
