Brett & Shelli's Wedding

The Cory family hadn't been to a wedding in awhile.  Henry had never been and I don't remember going to a wedding while I was pregnant with him so it had been at least 2 years since we last attended a wedding.  Then my cousin, Brett, got married a few weeks ago and we got all gussied up and headed to DeMotte, IN.  The wedding was outside and the reception was semi-outdoors so of course it rained, but it was at a VERY nice golf club and everything was just beautiful.  There's more than corn in Indiana, folks.
The girls probably had more fun because of the rain.  It didn't slow them down. They just ran around in the rain playing with the petals scattered where the aisle was during the ceremony.  Kids just seem to gravitate together at adult events and find their own way of having fun.
Instead of a wedding cake they had the most wonderful cupcakes and cookies.  Truly gourmet.

Henry is nonstop energy, nonstop.  But put him in the arms of someone he doesn't know or doesn't know well, and he comes to a screeching halt. Won't move if you paid him.  Will barely move his eyes.  So I've decided to have strangers just hang around our house all the time to try and reduce the craziness of my day.
Henry's first time dancing, ever.  He would never dance before at all, just kind of laughed like you were crazy if you told him to dance.  But he was getting the hang of it that night.  Maybe with all the people around him getting down, he caught the bug.
