Another Year of Dance

Magnolia has now finished up her 3rd year of dance. I love the couple of days during the year that we get to come watch the class. It's fun to see all that she has learned and all the little girls in their cute pink tutus! :). I signed the girls up for a dance camp during August that runs for a week. Other than that we are on break from dance until the fall. I love having little girls to put in girls things like dance class, but I know I'll enjoy having a little boy in T ball in a couple years just as much!

Henry was trying the get in on the action during Magnolia's class...see the lat pictures, it's cute!

Packing Up and Moving On

We sold our house! It was quick.  Much quicker than we had anticipated, but such a blessing.  For the past month now we have been looking for a place to live.  So far nothing has come on the market that we want to buy and we don't want to rush into buying because I never plan on moving again.  Most likely we will find a place to rent for the rest of the year or maybe until next spring.  I have felt at peace through this process because I know God has us right where he wants us and when/where He wants us to be next will be shown to us.  I've seen His Hand at work over these last few months.  The only part that gets me stressed a bit is the thought of packing and moving all of our stuff.  God is welcome to lend His Hand in that process as well but something tells me that's all on me! :)

I'll keep you posted as we make some decisions here in the next month before closing on our house sometime in June.  I have a feeling June may be a little crazy so I may not be posting much but once things have settled down, I'll play catch up.  I'm excited to see where we will land next, whether it be temporary or permanent.

Last Day or Preschool

We officially have a Kindergartener!!! Now give me the summer to accept that fact.

Today I picked Magnolia up from her last day of preschool.  She will be going back to ECDC for Kindergarten next year.  It will be nice for her to be familiar with the building and many of the same classmates.  We are still making the decision on where she will go for grade school.  It will depend on where we live.  Speaking of living somewhere else, we have big news on the home front.  Perhaps I'll update you all about that tomorrow!

Click here to see her picture from her first day of school back in August.

iPhone Picture Dump

Lots of spring happenings around here. Baby chicks at my parents' house, fresh cut flowers from the yard in my kitchen, a gallon of homemade sun tea in the fridge, and first sprouts in the garden. We are heading into a busy week of last dance classes, last BSF class, and last days of school for Magnolia. This weekend Magnolia had her piano recital and Dan and the girls sang at church along with the rest of the preschoolers. I really need to figure out how to post videos on here. I have the one of Henry and his ice cream cone as well as the piano recital and church singing. I had a very nice Mother's Day today and will post pictures from the real camera soon!

Something about a Sleeping Babe

Melts my heart to see my babies sleeping. It doesn't matter how old they are. Henry was exhausted the other evening and fell asleep while I was holding him andcooking dinner. I laid him on the couch so I could set the table and he slept there for another 20 minutes or so with all the other commotion of the family going on all around him! I can't believe this kid is already 16 months old!

And then tonight after I had rocked Henry and put him down I went back in the girls room since I told them I'd come back in. It took Henry a really long time to fall asleep so by the time I made it back into say goodnight to the girls they were asleep. Boothe had crawled in bed with Magnolia and they were snuggled together. It doesn't matter how much grief they caused throughout the day, once they are asleep all wrong doings are quickly forgotten and they return to the angels God sent in he first place.

First Ice Cream Cone

He was singing and laughing the whole time he was eating his cone. I took a video too but I'm not sure how to post that on here. I'll have Dan try and see if he can figure out how to add the video later.
